Plantcestry is a passion project meant to provide members with a way to connect through the propagation and sharing of plants. This special idea is meant to be member-driven — with members helping to define how to interact through the platform.
Phase 1
Early Adopter Evaluation and Feedback
January – July 2026
Register gifted plants and access basic plant sharing and tracking materials to begin propagating and sharing your gifted plant or Original Plant Line.
Phase 2
Member Sharing Platform
Projected: Fall 2026
Once funds are raised, members will be able to track plant propagations in the member platform and send invitations for their Giftees to register gifted plants.
Phase 3
Plantcestry Map
Projected: Late 2026 – Early 2027
Member plants and gifted propagations will be visualized on the Plantcestry Map to show plant lines and their Plantcestors.
